Job summary

Ramboll Singapore invites applications for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Buildings & Data Centre team. You will design, specify and coordinate mechanical services for data centers and buildings, including HVAC, ventilation and fire protection, and provide on-site support from concept to commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
• Positive work attitude and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enjoy the process of developing design ideas into actual quality installation and validating through performance tests.
• Likes hands-on site and testing & commissioning works.
• Familiarity in Data Centre industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify mechanical systems for data centers and buildings, such as Air-Conditioning, Mechanical Ventilation and Fire Protection systems
• Prepare relevant documents, design calculations and drawings for submissions to authorities
• Attend client-consultant, site and technical meetings
• Take a lead on project mechanical discipline management and construction supervision
• Review contractors' technical submissions of equipment/materials/drawings
• Conduct site inspections of installations
• Witness testing and commissioning of equipment/system or attending FAT (Factory Accept Test)
• Work with the clients' project team and fellow consultants to coordinate and detail project design requirement
• Be responsible for any duties that may be assigned from time to time
