Job summary

SIGMA DESIGN is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Singapore to join our fast-growing engineering team. You will design and analyze mechanical systems, automation, tooling, jigs, and fixtures, and contribute to product development from concept through manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of design experience, proficiency in Creo Elements Direct or SolidWorks, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively to solve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience designing equipment and/or tooling.
• Experience with Creo Elements Direct and/or SolidWorks.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Learn and review existing mechanical-automation systems and equipment to propose changes.
• Design and analyze mechanical systems, automation, tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
• Develop design documentation for manufacturing, assembly and verification, including 2D/3D CAD, instructions, manuals.
• Conduct feasibility testing; establish test methodologies and criteria to ensure reliability.
