Job summary

meinhardt (singapore) pte ltd is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to assist the Team Leader and Job Captain in delivering design deliverables for large-scale building projects in Singapore.

You will supervise the design drafting team, ensure quality and accuracy, and comply with project Design Criteria, client brief, and applicable standards. Strong BIM and engineering software skills, plus familiarity with MEP costs, are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering recognized by PE Board.
• Entry-level with consultancy internship welcome to apply.
• 3+ years design experience in consultancy is advantageous.
• Hands-on design experience in ACMV, Fire and Hydraulic services for large-scale projects.
• Experience in Rail and infrastructure projects and data centres is an advantage.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board.
• Entry level with some consultancy internship experience are welcome to apply
• 3 years and above design experience in consultancy firm would be advantageous
• Must have prior hands‑on design experience in the design of ACMV, Fire and Hydraulic services for large scale building projects
• Experience in Rail and infrastructure projects and data centre an advantage

Additional Requirements:

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be fully familiar with local and international codes
• Hands‑on experience with relevant engineering software and BIM

• Must have a good understanding of unit costs of the MEP services in various types of projects
