You will mentor engineers, set project goals, oversee multiple projects from planning to production, and ensure design rigor from concept to BOM and documentation. Strong CAD skills and GD&T expertise are essential, along with excellent leadership and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10 years in mechanical design with 3+ years in leadership.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment environment preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Inventor).
• Deep knowledge of materials selection, GD&T, and high-precision manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers and designers.
• Set goals, priorities and expectations aligned with projects.
• Oversee multiple projects from planning to execution.
• Lead design and development of mechanical systems, assemblies, and fixtures.
• Review and approve design concepts, drawings and specs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring products to production.
• Oversee design documentation, 3D modeling, BOM creation, and configuration control.
• Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Drive design reviews, DFMEA, tolerance analysis and root cause investigations.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
