Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore seeks a Mechanical Engineer to conduct equipment design and development in the semiconductor domain. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience, proficiency in SolidWorks, and strong communication skills. This role may require travel for overseas projects and involves leading project meetings and generating detailed drawings.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Conduct equipment design & development work according to customers and internal specifications.
• Act as project lead to plan, organize and co-ordinate their respective project’s meetings to review design and ensure projectsare kept to schedule.
• Maintain and control relevant documents related to R & D activities per requirements.
• Maintain, keep track, and ensure Billed Materials is updated.
• Generate detailed 2D/3D drawings
• Raise ECN for update of changes to design and drawings and follow up on approval and ECN flow.
• Provide technical support to process & production, supply chain & QA for review and troubleshooting of design and drawings.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or relevant disciplines.
• At least a minimum 4 years of relevant experience in semiconductor or automation equipment design. Candidate with more
• years of relevant experience would be considered for Senior position.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Words, Excel, PowerPoint) are required.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and engineering techniques are required.
• Plentiful experience of mechanical designs using SolidWorks is preferred. Candidate with Autodesk/Auto CAD Software will be
• an advantage.
• Solid knowledge and experience in material properties are required for Senior position.
• Good communication, time management, problem-solving and decision-making skills are required for Senior position.
• Willing to travel for overseas projects if required
