Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory facilitates a Mechanical Design Engineer role located near Admirax St in Singapore. The candidate will design mechanical systems for advanced semiconductor packaging equipment, create 3D models, drawings, BOMs, and documentation, and collaborate across engineering teams to ensure precision and reliability.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and 2+ years in similar fields, plus proficiency in Creo/SolidWorks/Inventor/CATIA/NX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of mechanical design experience in semiconductor equipment or precision automation.
• Proficient in 3D CAD software (Creo/SolidWorks/Inventor/CATIA/NX).
• Ability to prepare detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings.
• Knowledge of fits, tolerances and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems and modules for semiconductor packaging equipment.
• Develop 3D models, drawings, BOMs, and technical docs.
• Select mechanical and motion components (bearings, linear guides, motors, encoders).
• Perform tolerance stack-up and design reviews for precision assemblies.
• Work with cross-functional teams (process, electrical, software, manufacturing).
• Support assembly, alignment, testing, and customer qualification.
• Investigate issues and implement design improvements.
• Maintain engineering documentation and change records.
