in Singapore seeks a Senior / Mechanical Design Engineer to design precision mechanical systems for machine vision and semiconductor equipment, driving high-performance automation projects. You will create detailed 3D models in SolidWorks, perform tolerance analysis, and collaborate with Electrical, Software, Vision, and Manufacturing teams to deliver robust, cost-efficient machinery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Senior Engineer: 2–5 years in automation, machine vision, semiconductor equipment, or special-purpose machinery
Mechanical Design Engineer: 2+ years of relevant experience
Proficient in SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software
Knowledge of GD&T, DFM, DFA, pneumatic and motion systems, and machine assembly
Experience in semiconductor or factory automation equipment is advantageous
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Design and develop precision mechanical systems for machine vision and semiconductor equipment
Create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using CAD software
Develop custom mechanisms, tooling, fixtures and automation solutions
Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and DFM
Collaborate with Electrical, Software, Vision, and Manufacturing teams
Support prototype assembly, machine integration, testing and troubleshooting
Drive design improvements for performance, reliability and cost efficiency
