Job summary

A global technology company in Singapore is hiring a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the mechanical design and development of industrial electronics and power electronics products from concept to production.

You will create 3D models and drawings using Siemens NX or similar CAD tools, collaborate with cross-functional teams on DFM/DFA, prototyping, testing, and product validation, and drive prototype builds and verification.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of product design experience.
• Strong background in mechanical design for electronics or industrial products with solid GD&T knowledge.
• Proficient in CAD tools such as Siemens NX, Creo, or equivalent 3D design software; experience with prototyping, testing, and BOM management.
• Exposure to FEA, industrial design, plastic molding, overmolding, or ultrasonic welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design and development of industrial electronics and power electronics products from concept to production.
• Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and product specifications using Siemens NX or similar CAD tools.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams on DFM/DFA, prototyping, testing, and product validation.
• Drive prototype builds and product verification activities, including thermal analysis, 3D printing, and hands-on testing.
• Work with global stakeholders, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and production-ready.
