Job description

• Basic from $4,500 to $6,000 + Variable Bonus

• Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

• Location: Ang Mo Kio

Responsibilities

• Carry out equipment design and development work based on customer and internal specifications.

• Serve as the project lead to plan, organize, and coordinate project meetings, ensuring designs are reviewed and schedules are maintained.

• Manage and control documents related to R&D activities in accordance with requirements.

• Maintain and monitor the Bill of Materials, ensuring it is kept up to date.

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings.

• Initiate Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to update design and drawings, and follow through on approval and ECN processes.

• Provide technical support to the process, production, supply chain, and QA teams for design and drawing reviews and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Min. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Min. 4 years of relevant experience in semiconductor or automation equipment design. Candidates with more experience may be considered for a senior role.

• Extensive experience in mechanical design using SolidWorks and Autodesk/AutoCAD software.

• For senior roles, solid knowledge and experience in material properties are required.

• Proficient in Mandarin & English to communicate with Mandarin-speaking associates.

• Willingness to travel overseas for projects, if necessary.
