Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or relevant disciplines.
• 4 years of experience in semiconductor or automation equipment design.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
• Experience in mechanical designs using SolidWorks/Autodesk/Auto CAD software.
• Willing to travel for overseas projects.

Job description

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

• Up till $6500 basic + AWS

• Ang Mo Kio Ave (Techplace II)

• Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm

We are a well-established company in Singapore to serve the semiconductor and electronics industries both local and globally. Our core business is in the sale of equipment and materials, complete with a suite of services designed to provide synergistic support to our customers.

The Responsibilities:

• Conduct equipment design & development work according to customers and internal specifications.

• Act as project lead to plan, organize and co-ordinate their respective project’s meetings to review design and ensure projects are kept to schedule.

• Maintain and control relevant documents related to R & D activities per requirements.

• Maintain, keep track, and ensure Billed Materials is updated.

• Generate detailed 2D/3D drawings

• Raise ECN for update of changes to design and drawings and follow up on approval and ECN flow.

• Provide technical support to process & production, supply chain & QA for review and troubleshooting of design and drawings.

The Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or relevant disciplines.

• 4 years of experience in semiconductor or automation equipment design.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Words, Excel, PowerPoint) are required.

• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and engineering techniques are required.

• Experience of mechanical designs using SolidWorks/Autodesk/Auto CAD Software.

• Willing to travel for overseas projects if required
