A leading company in the electronics manufacturing sector seeks a Material Processing and Order Fulfilment Specialist. You will oversee the entire order fulfillment process, ensuring smooth operations from order placement to delivery, while working closely with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma, with substantial experience in supply chain management, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in essential Microsoft tools.
The Material Processing and Order Fulfilment Specialist will be responsible for processing the customer’s orders. The process typically starts with a customer placing an order and ends once they receive it – product inquiry, sales quote, order configuration, order booking, order acknowledgement / confirmation, invoicing / billing, order sourcing / planning, order changes, order processing, shipment, trace and track, delivery, settlement, returns. The incumbent shall establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers, principals, and peers as well as performing other assigned duties and projects as required.
Job Responsibilities:
· Process purchase orders, sales orders and documents in accordance with company policies, procedures and to specification.
· Perform daily operation purchasing matters and coordinate shipping with freight forwarder to ensure timely delivery.
· Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, liaise with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth clearance, as well as handling reconciliation of stocks.
· Upkeep of inventory store and manage inventory levels.
· Follow up with the Sales, Service and Finance teams on issues in the order fulfilment process.
· Other areas of responsibility include informing customers of changes to order expectations; providing and updating customers on shipping estimates; handling enquiries on delivery status, inventory situation, out-of-stocks status, shipment timelines, etc.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of the department.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Preferably Degree, Diploma or Higher NITEC with more than 3 years of work experience in a supply chain, procurement, order fulfilment, and/or logistics role in the electronics manufacturing or semiconductor industry.
· Confident with cross-functional work processes, interfacing with customers, principals, vendors, and internal team members.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to articulate and present marketing messages and concepts.
· Proficient level of computer skills including Microsoft tools like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
· Able to work independently and productively in a self-directed and dynamic environment that requires the incumbent to multi-task activities with shifting priorities.
· Strong time management skills, proactive, and strong interest to learn new skills and knowledge.
