About Quan Shui Wet Market

Join Quan Shui Wet Market, a third-generation grocery business redefining Singapore’s fresh food experience. From our wet market roots to becoming a leader in online grocery, we’re now expanding into B2B sales, F&B concepts, retail innovation, and experiential events.

We’re looking for a strategic and versatile marketing lead to help drive our next phase of brand and business growth. This is not just an executional role — you’ll oversee campaigns, guide freelancers, and work closely with founders to align marketing with business strategy.

If you demonstrate leadership and cross-functional contributions, there is a clear promotion path to Assistant Marketing & Sales Manager.

Your Role

You will lead the end-to-end marketing function — from strategy to execution — while mentoring team members and ensuring marketing efforts align with sales and operations. We’re looking for someone who combines commercial thinking, creative direction, and performance-minded execution.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute the annual marketing roadmap across digital, retail, B2B, and experiential channels.
  • Plan integrated 360° campaigns for product launches, festive campaigns, and activations (B2C and corporate)
  • Align brand and marketing strategy with evolving commercial goals.
  • Define quarterly KPIs with founders and drive team accountability.
  • Champion brand strategy across storytelling, partnerships, and customer experience.
  • Stay ahead of consumer trends and propose new initiatives.

Team Mentorship & Coordination

  • Guide and mentor junior executives, interns, and freelancers.
  • Oversee timelines, content calendars, and quality assurance across campaigns.
  • Build workflows and SOPs to improve execution and coordination.
  • Serve as the lead contact for creatives, agencies, and vendors.
  • Help grow the marketing team into a high-performing unit.

Performance Marketing & Budget Oversight

  • Collaborate with freelance specialists to plan and optimise Meta, Google, and other digital ad campaigns.
  • Understand and monitor key metrics like ROAS, CTR, AOV, CPC, and conversion rates.
  • Track campaign spend, and use analytics tools (GA4, Meta Pixel, Shopify) to evaluate performance.
  • Share monthly marketing performance reports with leadership.
  • Recommend budget allocations based on campaign data and ROI.

Brand Content & Storytelling

  • Oversee content production across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, email, packaging, and in-store materials.
  • Write or supervise copy for social posts, ads, banners, press kits, and web content.
  • Guide the production of videos, reels, lifestyle shoots, and storytelling formats.
  • Ensure consistent tone and branding across all platforms.
  • Lead seasonal and product campaigns from concept to execution.

Partnerships, Events & B2B Marketing

  • Lead marketing efforts for B2C and B2B events, including pop-ups, events, tastings, and B2B activations.
  • Develop press kits and outreach assets for KOLs, media, and partners.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to support corporate gifting, bulk sales, and F&B initiatives.
  • Lead marketing preparations for new B2B launches — messaging, materials, communications.

Website & Conversion Optimisation

  • Manage Shopify updates — including campaign banners, landing pages, and featured product sections.
  • Coordinate UX/UI optimisation with the web agency to improve on-site journey.
  • Use GA4, heatmaps, and Shopify analytics to assess and enhance conversion behaviour.

Campaign Reporting & Budget Management

  • Track KPIs, compile post-mortem campaign reports, and share insights with the team.
  • Review monthly marketing spends across ads, content, events, and KOLs.
  • Forecast budgets for upcoming campaigns and marketing expansions.
  • Ensure all efforts align with ROI targets and commercial objectives.
Who We’re Looking For

  • Able to monitor and interpret marketing/ad metrics with the support of freelancers or agencies.
  • Familiar with performance metrics and ad budget management (Meta, Google).
  • Experience in mentoring or managing junior team members or freelancers.
  • Proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable in a fast-paced, lean team.
  • Bonus: Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta/Google Ads.
