A leading company in the food industry is seeking a Senior Marketing and Content Executive. This role focuses on driving revenue and enhancing social media presence through innovative marketing strategies. The successful candidate will manage marketing campaigns, create engaging content, and leverage analytics to optimize performance across digital platforms. Ideal for those with substantial experience in digital marketing, particularly within hospitality or retail sectors.
Mission:
As the Senior Marketing and Content Executive, you need to be revenue and social media focused. You will work closely with the Marketing team to manage, develop and execute restaurant marketing opportunities both offline and online. You will play a pivotal role in developing and documenting engaging content across GYG’s established social media and digital channels in order to achieve success, drive sales and tell our brand story.
Your responsibilities will include strategic and tactical execution of creative and engaging marketing campaigns, creation and management of social media calendars assets in-line with our marketing strategy.
This role will be vital in supporting day-to-day objectives as well as bigger marketing strategies and campaigns. You will be expected to deliver your deliverables, on time, in-line with agreed budgets and ensure a return on investment.
Job Scope:
Marketing Campaigns
Coordination of marketing initiatives, including liaising with Operations, Culinary and Operations Coaches, Restaurant Managers and Culinary.
Work alongside the design team to produce artwork for campaigns.
Rollout marketing campaigns in-restaurant and across all media and digital channels.
Social Media Management
Create & manage social media calendars, including creating content, copywriting and scheduling posts across channels.
Create social media content, both yourself and in collaboration with the design team.
Engage with our communities across a range of social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok & Facebook.
Stay informed about industry trends and incorporate them into content strategies.
Content Creation
Have a sharp eye for content creation, photography and video creation.
Utilise basic / intermediate Adobe Suite skills (or equivalent) to edit, refine, update and manage content for social media and digital platforms.
Engage in one-day-a-week visits to the restaurants and events to create content needed to be shared across digital platforms.
Ensure all multimedia content is of high quality and consistent to brand standards.
Website, eDM, email marketing
Assist in creating written and visual content for GYG website, blog and eDM.
Assist in any copy or content updates required across the GYG website.
Report on campaign results and provide feedback for performance improvement.
GYG App & Loyalty Program Management
Support the management of the GYG loyalty program, including campaign planning, execution, and performance tracking.
Collaborate with Tech teams to enhance app user experience and engagement
Develop and implement content and push notification strategies for the GYG App.
Analyse loyalty and app data to optimise user retention and acquisition.
Respond to user feedback and reviews on app stores and digital platforms.
Guest Experience
Monitor and respond to guests’ comments, feedback and inquiries.
Foster a sense of community through engaging and interactive content.
Stakeholder Support
Support relationships with partners in digital space.
Manage GYG listings and content across various third-party sites.
Provide assets and create content for partners such as delivery aggregators.
Analytics and Reporting
Utilise analytics tools to measure the performance of content across different platform
Provide regular reports on content engagement and suggest improvements
General Admin Support
Plan, coordinate, and execute brand and marketing events, including in-store activations, product launches, community events, and media gatherings.
Assist with adhoc project, event support and Marketing team communications as required
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, business, or a related discipline.
Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in a similar marketing, digital content, or brand management role, ideally within the hospitality, QSR, or retail sectors.
Extremely high level of written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficiency in G Suite (Google Workspace) and willing to learn new digital platforms, content management systems, and marketing tools.
Experience managing loyalty programs, mobile apps, or digital platforms is highly regarded.
Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Experience in hospitality industry is preferred
