Job summary

Lighthouse Navigation Co., Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Head of Operations to oversee end-to-end vessel coordination, voyage execution, and commercial support. You will liaise with vessels, agents, charterers, and owners to ensure smooth operations and accurate documentation.

The role involves monitoring vessel positions, managing port calls, finalising voyages, and coordinating with technical teams. A senior maritime professional with 10+ years' experience is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Maritime Study or a related maritime course is required.
• Team player who works well with others, but can work independently and make decisions.
• Good skills in Microsoft Office; knowledge of IMOS, CFM, SEDNA is an advantage.
• Proficient in English.
• Attention to detail.
• Minimum 10 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with vessels, agents, charterers, owners, shippers, receivers and other external parties to ensure smooth operations.
• Daily monitoring of vessels positions/schedules.
• Assistance to Chartering providing information around all running voyages.
• Time charter operations.
• Voyage operations including stowage optimizing (TC and VC).
• Issuing invoices and hire statements; handle laytime and demurrage.
• Finalisation of voyages (TC and VC) including follow up.
• Managing port calls including negotiating port disbursement accounts.
• Coordination of hold/hull cleaning procedure with technical departments and Master.
• Checking and approval of B/L drafts, commission invoices, FDA, bunker invoices and notifications for pre-funding to accounting.
• Any other duties as required.
