Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in marine civil construction.
• Experience with dredging, reclamation, port and coastal works is advantageous.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office, CAD and construction planning tools.
• Familiarity with local regulations, standards and bidding processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and coordination of tenders for marine civil projects.
• Analyse tender documents, including specifications and contractual requirements.
• Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits as required.
• Develop construction sequences and bid strategies under supervision.
• Liaise with engineering, QS, finance, contracts and operations during tender prep.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and assess tender risk.
• Prepare and present tender proposals with cost estimates and schedules.
• Review tender submissions to ensure contractual, legal, technical and operational aspects are addressed.
• Support post-tender presentations, interviews and clarifications with clients.
• Assist in handover to project management for successful tenders.
