About this Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marine Manager and Deputy DPA/CSO to join our Tech & Operations division. Reporting to the Head of Tech & Operations, you will optimise the operations and commercial performance of vessels to meet the requirements of the business plan objectives. You will also provide marine expertise and advice to the Vessel Operations group and Projects group while ensuring that client audits are managed and closed.

This is a full-time permanent position based in our Singapore office.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide marine expertise to the operations and project teams and support the business development tendering process, providing expertise and ensuring new ventures are deliverable

· Lead the implementation, and ensure compliance with, safety systems, practices, behaviours and develop a proactive safety culture.

· Lead the implementation of, and ensure compliance with, all people, safety, technical, operating and business systems, behaviours and culture.

· Build marine capability in the fleet through coaching and mentoring of vessels’ Masters.

· Act as Deputy DPA and Deputy CSO.

· Manage the mobilisation of marine assets and chartered vessels into and out of operations.

· Custodian for maintaining and developing key marine operating procedures.

· Form part of the group auditing team contributing to compliance requirements.

· Attend client HAZID reviews, safety forums and rig move meetings to represent the company.

· Carry out vessel inspections prior to client/OVID/CMID & manage the close out of such inspections.

· Monitor fuel consumption of the fleet and ensure that vessel activity is monitored.

· Carry out annual DP trials as per ICMA 190 on Cyan/MMA vessels.

· Adhoc projects and charter management as directed by the GM.

Experience

· Relevant experience in a similar role.

· Knowledge of maritime compliance systems including ISM, ISPS, OCIMF and MLC.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

· Knowledge of business compliance systems

Qualifications

· Class 1 Deck Certificate of Competency

· SO/ISM Lead Auditor Certification

· DPA and CSO Certification

· OVID/CMID accreditation/relevant experience

· Management of IMR/DSV vessels
