Job Description
Reports to: General Manager
• Oversee daily ship management operations
• Ensure navigation standards are maintained onboard vessels
• Implement and monitor IMS system
• Ensure understanding of ISM management among Marine Safety Superintendents
• Supervise Marine Superintendents/Executives on Oil Major Inspections
• Report to GM on vessel operations and anomalies
• Communicate with vessel owners and charterers regarding operational matters
• Coordinate daily communication with vessels
• Manage crew resources
• Handle owner/principal inquiries and correspondence
• Review vessel disbursement returns and operational billing
• Conduct bi-monthly safety meetings
• Prepare agendas for management reviews
• Schedule Oil Major inspections
• Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures
• Lead investigations into accidents and implement corrective actions
• Organize internal audits
• Ensure vessels are equipped with updated safety equipment
• Keep vessels compliant with legal requirements
• Achieve set Objectives, Targets, and Programs
• Handle general administrative tasks
• Liaise with clients/principals
• Review inspection reports
• Review and discuss vessel budgets and operations
• Coordinate budget proposals with departments
• Meet KPI targets set during management review

Job Requirements
  • Minimum three years as captain on oil tankers or LPG vessels and at least five years as a marine superintendent or similar role, with experience guiding vessels through SIRE or CDI inspections.
  • Familiar with international and domestic maritime laws, conventions, and regulations, including ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL, IGC, IBC, ISO standards, TMSA, etc.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills;
  • Proficiency in English;

Medical and background checks are required as per company policy.
This is a senior managerial position; remuneration will be discussed mutually.
