Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Marine Field Service Engineer in Singapore to commission, troubleshoot, and repair marine generators.

You will work with marine electronics and automation systems, traveling across the Asia Pacific region as needed. Based in Singapore, the role requires hands-on generator experience, a diploma/degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel across Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia Region.
• Hands-on experience with assembly and repair of Marine Generator; familiar with marine electronics and automation systems.
• Prior electrical and control experience with various control systems (John Deere ECU and KDI ECU) and synchronization system advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Standby support and emergency call for customer support.
• Providing after-sales technical support, site recovery and maintenance responsibilities to distributors/end customers.
• Generate a service report to customer in a systematic manner.
• Investigates root causes of failures and recommend solutions.
• Review and assist in determining the extent of damage and repairs of warranty claims from distributors.
• Maintain relationships with key customers to ensure issue resolution.
