Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to support final assembly and test operations for enterprise-class hardware products. You will join a diverse team of engineers and specialists to uphold safety, security, and cost efficiency across global infrastructure. Travel is expected 25% of the time.

You will own the test ecosystem, develop production test software, and drive automated processes to improve yield and throughput on the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
• Experience with one or more modern languages (C++, C#, Java, Python, etc.).
• 3+ years designing or architecting new and existing systems.
• Knowledge of networking, storage, OS fundamentals and hands-on systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own and support the test ecosystem for AI server hardware, from board validation to rack integration.
• Build and scale test software using Python, Bash, and related tooling including data collection and reporting.
• Drive automation and self-healing to reduce manual intervention and improve throughput.
• Define modular test strategies with pass/fail limits and SPC considerations.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes, and corrective actions.
• Monitor test yield and lead weekly production quality reviews with cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, process engineering, quality and operations teams.
• Guide fixture and infrastructure design and engage in RFQ processes.
• Support new product introduction from concept to production ramp.
• Maintain documentation of test procedures, specs and infrastructure.
• Provide DFt feedback to improve testability and manufacturing efficiency.
