Job Summary

Are you a Manufacturing System Engineer with a knack for crafting robust system data architectures and integrating innovative digital technologies into business processes? Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! As a Senior / Manufacturing System Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in improving and sustaining our Digital Transformation roadmap by integrating innovative digital technologies. This role is based in Singapore and will be under the Flow Controls business unit.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Lead Digital Transformation:

  • Identify and implement innovative technologies to improve efficiency and productivity in business operations.

  • Collaborate with multi-functional collaborators to expand digital solutions.

System Data Architecture Design:

  • Craft and develop scalable data architecture that support business requirements.

  • Ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility across all systems.

  • Build and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture and processes.

System Integration:

  • Integrate various systems and software applications to work together efficiently.

  • Conduct rigorous testing to ensure system reliability and performance.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly.

Collaboration and Support:

  • Work closely with multi-functional teams to align technological resources with business goals.

  • Deliver training to developers on system usage and best practices.

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve system architecture.

Who You Are:

You have solid understanding in relevant digital skills to drive Digital Transformation. You are interested in the latest digital technology and willing to lead its introduction to improve the business operations. You can independently lead projects and facilitate effective collaboration between collaborators.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and deploying digital solutions using SQL, SSIS and Power Platform tools.

  • Have hands-on experience in managing SQL databases and cloud resources.

  • Capable of collaborating effectively in an operational environment

  • Good understanding of project management and experience in leading digital transformation projects.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

Demonstrable experience in leading and successfully implementing digital transformation projects with tight timeline

Experience in designing and implementing robust scalable Database Architecture

Certification of proficiency in SQL Database Management and Microsoft Power Platform.

Fast learner and able to work with minimal direction.
