Job summary
Molex Singapore is seeking a Sr Manufacturing Process Engineer to drive process optimization, productivity improvement, yield enhancement, and operational excellence across DataCom and Specialty Solutions. You will lead continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC while ensuring safety and quality during new product transfers.
You will supervise and mentor engineering staff, align processes with global standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 7 years in assembly process development, process optimization, or manufacturing troubleshooting.
- Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, SOP/WI, SPC, MSA, DOE, and statistical methods.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Analyze current methods, identify improvements, and redesign processes to reduce waste and cost.
- Develop process control techniques and simulation methods for stable production.
- Lead or participate in long-term improvement projects (ACT, JDI) and Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
- Collaborate with operations and quality teams to enhance process capability and product quality.
