Job summary

A leading automotive engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an Engineering Assistant to support planning, execution, and improvement of manufacturing operations. This role involves documentation, coordination, quality control, and analysis throughout the production cycle. Candidates should have a diploma in relevant engineering fields and a minimum of 1 year of experience, with practical experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, along with experience in SMT or similar manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• 3 years of practical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support new products start-up and CR process.
• Provide and improve the manufacturing process.
• Provide production equipment and tools.
• Meets Departmental cost and Quality objectives.
• Follow up closely on daily Quality trends and analyze daily Quality issues.

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Experience with SMT or other manufacturing processes

Education

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Diploma in Production Engineering
