Job summary

SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) is seeking a Section Coordinator to supervise production, coordinate activities across shifts, and meet daily and monthly manufacturing goals in a safe, efficient environment.

You will mentor engineers, resolve bottlenecks, and contribute to quality and cost-reduction initiatives. A degree in Science or Engineering and 2–5 years wafer fab experience are required, with supervision of 20+ personnel and willingness to work 12‑hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science or Engineering required.
• 2–5 years wafer fab manufacturing experience in Thin Film, Diffusion, Etch, Lithography, Test or Production Planning.
• Experience supervising a team of at least 20 personnel.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet daily and monthly goals across shifts.
• Assist Section Manager and coordinate with supporting departments on issues and solutions.
• Lead and execute improvement programs in manufacturing operations in the section.
• Mentor, train and guide Manufacturing Engineers.
• Ensure safety, discipline and housekeeping compliance; maintain data integrity and documentation.
