Job summary

Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Singapore's East region will collaborate with R&D to optimize manufacturability through DFM/DFA inputs and will lead the transfer of new products into manufacturing. You will create detailed workflows and work instructions to ensure smooth production handoffs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 6 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering with strong mechanical/electromechanical content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience as a manufacturing/process/advanced manufacturing engineer supporting product development with significant mechanical/electromechanical content.

Responsibilities

• Provide DFM & DFA input to R+D teams during concept development, design reviews, and prototype iterations to optimize manufacturability, reliability, and cost.
• Challenge new product designs to improve efficacy, reliability, manufacturability, and cost.
• Lead design transfer activities from R+D to manufacturing, ensuring seamless handoff of new products.
• Create manufacturing workflow processes, and detailed work instructions for new product.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Education

Bachelor's degree (ME/Manufacturing/Mechatronics)
