Job summary

HSBC Singapore is seeking a Senior Manager for Third Party Risk Management to strengthen non-financial risk controls and governance across the GCOO function. You will partner with 1LOD/2LOD, regulators, and business teams to embed risk frameworks and drive remediation actions.

You will lead cross-stakeholder discussions, challenge risk processes, and ensure timely escalation of material issues. This role demands strong communication and regional/cultural adaptability.

Qualifications

• Deep SME knowledge in managing non-financial risks, especially in Resilience Risk and Financial Crime Risk.
• Experience implementing non-financial risk frameworks in large financial organizations.
• Ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze complex data and provide SME guidance to 1LOD and Business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and people management across cultures and geographies.
• Strong networking and benchmarking within HSBC Singapore against peer activity.

Responsibilities

• Non-Financial Risk management – support 1LOD GCOO teams to embed the NFR Framework.
• Review and Challenge on activities by GCOO teams and remediation efforts.
• Timely escalation of material issues and incidents to senior management.
• Provide risk and control advisory and support to GCOO teams and audits/inspections.
• Governance support for effective risk oversight with 2LOD risk stewards.
• Regulatory support in interactions with Regulators and accurate submissions.
• Projects/Change Execution support for cross-entity/market initiatives.
• Liaise with Third Party Engagement Risk Owners and other stakeholders to implement TP risk enhancements.
