A leading healthcare organization in Singapore is seeking a Senior Manager to drive the commercialization of new healthcare technologies. This role involves engaging with the clinical research community, managing patent applications, and promoting healthcare innovation. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of relevant experience, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a background in biotechnology or biomedical engineering.
The Technology Development & Commercialisation (TD&C) team is seeking a Senior Manager to focus on the commercialisation of new healthcare-related technologies developed under the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre. You will work with the SingHealth clinical research community to identify and commercialise intellectual property arising from a diverse range of healthcare fields. You will also be involved in the management of a growing portfolio of patent and trademark applications and in promoting the awareness and benefits of healthcare innovation development.
They key responsibilities of the role include the review of invention disclosure submissions and liaising with the SingHealth Intellectual Property office. You will engage with external parties to increase the awareness of institutions capabilities, research areas, and opportunities for collaborations and research partnerships; as well as speak at internal workshops related to intellectual property, innovation, translational development, and commercialisation. You will also support the IP office to identify and engage with potential licensees of the institution’s intellectual property portfolio. You will work with stakeholders to draft and review intellectual property and commercialisation strategies of translational funding grant applications.
