Job description

Are you a results-driven professional with a proven track record in spearheading impactful sustainability initiatives? Certis is seeking a Senior Manager, Sustainability to champion the integration of sustainability principles across our facilities management operations. In this role, you will develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies, monitor progress, and collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve our sustainability goals.

Responsibilities we will trust you with:

  • Sustainability Strategy Development: Design and execute sustainability strategies that align with Certis' overarching organisational goals, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving efforts to reduce environmental impact.

  • Operational Sustainability: Lead initiatives focused on energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste reduction across operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Forge strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring collaborative efforts in driving sustainability across the organisation.

  • Data Management and Reporting: Collect, analyse, and report on sustainability performance metrics. Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Project Management: Lead and manage sustainability-related projects, including environmental audits, feasibility studies, and implementation of green technologies and processes.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Science, Sustainability Studies, or Facilities Management).

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in facilities management, sustainability practices, environmental standards, or similar areas.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Proven project management skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.

  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
