A global MNC in the Industrial Equipment business is seeking a Supply Chain Leader to oversee and optimize the entire supply chain process. The role involves leading a large regional team, driving strategic management initiatives, and improving logistics and supply chain efficiencies to meet market demands while reducing costs.
Our client is a Global MNC in Industrial Equipment Business.
To lead the entire Supply Chain process with the objective of meeting market demands for service while reducing total direct or indirect material costs and will jointly determine total delivered cost and service level targets and develop joint plans to achieve the targets.
Overall responsibilities to include: Demand Management; Production and Supply Planning; Purchasing and Supplier Management; Regional Logistics.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Leading a regional team of supply chain leaders to manage the supply chains and share best practices
2. Spearheading and driving strategies within the Supply Chain Management, Order Fulfillment, Warehousing and distribution operations to support business plans
3. Develop and optimize logistics and supply chain costs through reduction in inventory, lead time improvement and delivery accuracy
4. Develop methods for the scheduling of products from suppliers to sales companies and minimizing cost impacts to the organization
5. Manage client service activities such as order entry, customer satisfaction and factory interface
6. Lead a healthy inventory management for APAC to support business growth
7. Leads the process of early involvement of supplier partners in new product development and introduction.
8. Leads the strategic selection, development, and maintenance of OEM partners ensuring that they share values and passion on company products.
9. Develops and implements strategic Supplier and Manufacturing Agreements providing advantageous financial terms and lowest total cost.
10. As appropriate, creates and implements dual sourcing strategies as both risk mitigation and competitive costing advantage.
11. Develops and integrates global processes and KPIs for the sharing of information, including demand signals, forecasts, inventory positions, distribution & logistics, quality metrics, costing, and performance.
12. With responsibility for the Quality function, leads development of proactive quality processes with supplier partners to ensure consistent delivery of quality products meeting specifications.
13. In collaboration with the Quality team, ethically mediates and resolves quality issues with vendors and supplier partners, seeking to minimize costs and disruptions to the supply chain.
14. Leads the Purchasing function for both Production materials and Non-Production materials.
15. Directs, evaluates, and monitors the activities of assigned functional teams ensuring productive and effective resource allocation while meeting objectives.
16. Drives continuous efforts for cost and quality improvements across the entire Supply Chain function.
