Reporting to the Integrated Marketing Lead, this role will champion the strategic aspects of marketing for the Studio business in the SEA markets while supporting the Integrated Marketing Lead in consolidating an overarching view and integrated planning across our businesses (DTC, Studio and Brand & Franchise Marketing) and priorities, to identify areas of needs and opportunities and work in close collaboration with partnerships to address market gaps. In addition, the role tracks and compile industry trends and competitive analysis to inform business strategies.
The Senior Manager, Studio Marketing and Integrated Planning will be responsible to review and streamline work processes with the aim to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. The role will champion the management of regional agency to optimize marketing planning process and ensure high-quality deliverables from agency partners to service business and market needs.
Studio Marketing & Integrated Planning
- Build long term and short-term Studio marketing strategic plan that underpins key regional growth initiatives and guides Disney’s investment in the region
- Identify white space for Studio to drive growth, identifying key partners and mitigating regulatory barriers
- Support IM lead in overarching FY strategic goals across functions, and follow through with regular milestone check-ins
- Support in the building of strategic business plans with value-added market insights and consolidated business reports for key stakeholders and market leads, focusing on Studios, Brand & Franchise and in support of DTC marketing lead
- Support IM lead in overarching integrated view across Studio, DTC, Brand & Franchise strategies, for visibility of overall IM GTM approach by market, to support leads in identifying blank space for development and opportunities for growth and synergies.
- Work with research, external agencies, analytics and strategy teams on competitor analyses, market evaluations, and consumer studies to understand changing market trends and identify market and audience growth segments in support for DTC lead, B&F lead, and IM lead to formulate business strategies.
- Dissect campaign strategies to applicable takeaways for our region and markets, and support in cross markets sharing
- Post examination of campaigns and data with in-market teams and DTC Marketing Lead to continuously evolve as a team in our GTM approach.
Regional Marketing Synergy and Process Optimization
- Collaborate with in-market teams, business leads, and APAC regional team to optimize marketing planning and reporting processes with the aim to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Spearhead regional agency management to optimize marketing planning processes and enable cross-markets learnings, knowledge transfer, and creative sharing. Ensure high-quality deliverables from agency partners to service business and market needs
- Spearhead regional agencies QBR, to align business priorities, workflow challenges, and to ensure regular sharing from agencies of latest media technology and consumer and media landscape
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree with specialization in Marketing
- At least 9 years of experience in marketing, business development, partnerships, project management at media or technology companies
- Portfolio of strong consumer marketing campaigns resulting in building brands, driving business growth & user acquisition, including across traditional and digital/social platforms.
- Strong understanding of media, technology, and content landscape in Southeast Asia
- Extensive regional experience, especially in Southeast Asia
- Project management skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast pace environment
- Proven team leadership experience, including management of teams and stakeholders across multiple markets
- Proven track record of delivering highly successful and innovative products with a large-scale customer base
