Job Scope
Responsible for driving the company's overall strategic planning, including medium to long-term strategy formulation, implementation oversight, and support for strategic management systems. The role also plays a key part in identifying and evaluating merger and acquisition (M&A) opportunities to support the company’s growth objectives.
Job Responsibility:
- Analyze industry trends, market developments, competitor strategies, and customer needs to provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with the strategic planning team to design, update, and refine the company’s long-term strategic plans in alignment with evolving market conditions and corporate objectives.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment across departments and fostering organizational synergy.
- Monitor and report on the implementation of strategic plans, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and adjust strategic direction based on business or market changes.
- Support the annual business planning process, including KPI setting, budget planning, and resource allocation to ensure effective execution of corporate priorities.
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend M&A opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic growth goals; support due diligence, valuation, integration planning, and post-merger execution.
- Liaise with external research and consulting firms, investment banks, and other institutions to assess strategic investments and partnerships.
- Prepare feasibility studies and investment proposals for strategic and M&A-related projects, ensuring alignment with long-term value creation.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in strategic planning, M&A, business development, or related functions.
- Proven track record in M&A strategy, deal evaluation, and integration is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, technology trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable strategies.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
- Industry experience in semiconductors is a significant advantage.
- Able to converse in mandarin as this role requires you to speak to the chinese counterparts.
