Job description:

We are seeking a leader to manage a team responsible for engaging potential partners in the sector and conducting grant calls to onboard partners for senior learning and volunteerism initiatives. The role includes:

  1. Overseeing operations such as fund administration, tracking, reporting, engagement, and marketing alongside a team of account managers.
  2. Engaging with partners regularly to address challenges in meeting KPIs and mitigating issues within our control, including reviewing the manpower funding framework to improve efficiency and impact.
  3. Enhancing progress reporting and operational processes between C3AD and partners, and promoting seniors and partners through stories, testimonials, and publicity.
  4. Driving surveys and data collection methods to evaluate future funding tranches for learning and volunteerism initiatives.
  5. Establishing a Community of Practice or Networking platform to facilitate collaboration, recruitment, and retention among partners.
  6. Collaborating with policymakers to expand the senior learning and volunteerism space by supporting a diverse network of programs and opportunities.
  7. Building partner capabilities to scale and sustain learning and volunteering activities for seniors.
  8. Innovating to strengthen the connection between learning and volunteerism initiatives for greater impact.
  9. Supporting corporate planning, including workplans and budgeting cycles.
  10. This is a 2-year contract role, subject to renewal.

    Job Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in any discipline, with at least 8 years of work experience and 2 years in managerial leadership, preferably in social services or healthcare.
  • Strong experience in policy formulation, public grant governance, strategy development, and project management within the public sector.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills for stakeholder engagement and mobilization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to achieve operational efficiencies promptly.
  • A good understanding of the senior volunteerism sector and its relation to senior learning.
  • Resourcefulness and deep industry understanding of health and social care functions, emphasizing senior volunteerism and learning.
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into actionable plans for team execution.
  • Willingness to learn, collaborate, and think analytically to improve work processes.
  • Experience in developing volunteerism and learning programs, especially involving senior volunteers and learners, is advantageous.
