IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Manages and drives performance of Key Account Specialist Team
- Prepares and communicates the long-term sales strategy and/or plan and annual sales forecast for the respective department
- Delivers financial results in line with agreed revenue & margin budgets and targets
- Drives performance improvement of Key Account group to achieve Sales KPI
- Plans and manages the portfolio of accounts of the Key Account Team
- Invests in critical relationships between CSI/MNC/SC Customers and DGF organization
- Provides industry expertise to the team and management, driving the growth of focus sectors
- Supports and facilitates Sales skills/process training relevant to the Key Account Channel
- Performs quarterly reviews, identifies and reports performance variance to senior management, thereafter, devises/imposes necessary counteractive actions as applicable
- Ensures compliance to the requirements of Quality Management System in accordance to the relevant quality procedures and quality manual
- Provides leadership and manages expectations to team of Sales/ Key Account Managers / Supports
- Appointed to groom and train junior staff for continuity plans. Provides coaching to staff and manage sales performance
- Engagement with regional team as well as internal Product Groups
- Performs general administrative functions and maintenance of staff discipline, leave application and involvement in annual budgeting process
- Point of escalation for all commercial / operational matters within the team
YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experienced in Account Management of Freight Forwarding or related international transportation services customers - managing SLA with SOP, monthly performance reviews with customers
- Experienced in managing a team
- Proven track record in developing and growing business with assigned portfolio of customers through RFQ, customised solutions selling
- Good understanding of sector trends in the freight forwarding industry
- Able to identify customer needs by gathering information and building long-term relationships through value creation
- Well developed communication and presentation skills
- Diploma/ degree with more than 8 years of relevant working experience in a MNC environment
