Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead procurement and refurbishment programs for Airport Speciality Equipment, Ground Support Equipment, and Vehicles.
  2. Manage specifications, manufacturing quality, factory acceptance testing, and related materials for GSE.
  3. Oversee project risks, ensuring alignment across procurement, sustainability initiatives (including electrification), and refurbishment activities.
  4. Act as the primary liaison for stakeholders, including senior management.
  5. Monitor program performance, ensuring milestones are achieved within budget and schedule.
  6. Analyze equipment performance and operator feedback to develop design, technical specifications, and ensure quality and suitability.
  7. Chair or Deputy Chair procurement technical evaluation committees.

Key Requirements

  1. Degree in Engineering (Master's preferred) with over 10 years of senior technical and management experience in procurement, refurbishment, or maintenance programs, preferably involving service providers and in-house teams. Experience in logistics support, training design, acceptance testing, and inventory management is desirable.
  2. Proven experience as Engineer In-Charge or Deputy Engineer In-Charge, evaluating engineering and operational specifications for design, manufacture, and refurbishment of aviation ground support equipment and vehicles, ensuring safety, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
  3. Domain knowledge in aviation ground operations, ground handling, aviation maintenance, land transport, or industrial equipment management, including mechanical, hydraulics, electronics, and electrification technologies.
  4. Willingness to work occasionally on weekends or public holidays as required.
  5. Valid Class 3 driving license; ability to obtain higher classes (4 and 5) for operating airport specialty equipment is advantageous.
