Job summary

A leading infrastructure solutions firm in Singapore is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide strategic financial oversight and support key financial objectives. The role involves monitoring project performance, supporting monthly close activities, and managing working capital. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Accountancy, has 5+ years of relevant experience, and excellent communication skills. Knowledge of IFRS is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in MNC.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good knowledge of relevant IFRS and immediate availability preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor project performance and key indicators.

Job description

Main Purpose of the Job:
To provide strategic financial oversight and drive performance by aligning with the Division Head on key financial objectives—including P&L, cash flow, and DSO—while actively supporting project execution across all phases, from bid development through final closeout, in close coordination with operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Interface regularly with business leader and operations team.

• Monitor project performance and key indicators: support Division as required in understanding project performance.

• Monitor & analyze revenue to ensure proper revenue recognition methods used; be able to explain key project metrics and lead indicators.

• Support in monthly close activities as outlined by Local / Asia team.

• Coordinate with other functional departments (Legal, Tax, etc.) for division and other project related issues

• Support and assist on external / internal Billing function.

• Manage working capital and related reporting; work with operations teams to meet DSO and cash flow target.

• Provide internal and external audit support, when required.

• Perform adhoc project analysis and prepare reports upon request.

Requirements:

· Previous exposure in engineering, construction, consulting business or property development would be an advantage

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

· Highly organized and motivated individual with the ability to work independently

· Proactive team player with strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills

· University Degree in Accountancy or related disciplines and member of an internationally recognized accountancy body such as ISCA, ACCA, CPA, ACA preferred

· Minimum of 5-year experience in a similar role, MNC preferably.

· Good knowledge of relevant IFRS.

· Immediate availability is preferred

Experience with ERP software a plus.
