As a key leader within the HIG HBM Product and System Engineering Advanced Data Analytics team, you will spearhead and develop a high-performing team to drive initiatives that significantly enhance yield and quality through advanced data analysis, machine learning, and AI. Your responsibilities will include developing innovative algorithms, creating robust product disposition solutions, and establishing a proactive deviation alert system for yield and quality, enhancing data infrastructure, mentor team members, and cultivate innovation to maintain a driven edge. You will also collaborate with crmulti-functional teams within and outside of HBM to achieve both strategic and tactical objectives, continually improving the effectiveness of the HIG HBM PE organization, focusing on critical important metrics such as quality, cost, cycle time, and scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Cumulative Yield Ownership: Lead multi-functional teams, to drive impactful initiatives that significantly enhance overall yield and quality improvement, driving substantial benefits for the organization with Fab, Assembly, Test Engineering teams.
- Data Analysis for Yield Improvement, Defectivity and Reliability: Lead team to apply in-house statistical tools, machine learning, and AI for engineering data analysis to enhance yields and reliability. You will also work closely with Global Quality, Fab, Package Development, Advanced Package Development for corrective action and improvements on Time 0 DPM.
- Models/Algorithm Development: Develop brand new algorithms, including Machine Learning and Deep Learning models, to advance analytics and pattern recognition for quality enhancement, yield improvement, wafer/die/cube level screening and efficiency enhancement.
- Product Disposition through in-house solution: Lead the HBM Wormhole disposition team to develop, validate and release product-disposition recipe/solutions to meet quality and Defects Per Million (DPM) requirement.
- Deviation Alert System: Create a deviation alert system to monitor yield loss, characteristic/parameter trends, and wafer/die/cube shading.
- Mentorship and Development: Actively mentor and develop team members to champion growth and development within the team and the organization.
- Multi-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various multi-functional teams, including Fab, HBM Technology Development, HBM Design, System Development, and Quality teams, to ensure the well-rounded development and successful shipping of end products.
- Promotion of Innovation: Promote innovation and motivate changes that provide a technical advantage over competitors, maintaining the company's driven edge in the market.
- AI/ML Advocate: Collaborate with multi-functional teams to develop, deploy, and validate AI/ML models aimed at enhancing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Quality, Cost, Cycle Time, and Scale; and Productivity improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelors/Masters Electrical Engineering Degree with 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Micron Product Engineering experience is preferred.
- Demonstrating Strong Leadership Skills and Technical Skills with strong understanding of data analytics, data extraction and analysis tools. Familiary with Wormhole recipe program/recipe will be prefered.
- Dedicated and highly motivated with a flexible approach towards adapting to different roles in a dynamic working environment (from leading the team to leading technical programs).
- Proven track record of collaborative work within/across teams to address sophisticated business and engineering problems.
- Strong sense of responsibility and accountability towards assigned role with professional work ethic.
- Proficient in scripting, coding and statistical analysis tool such as JMP, Tableau, Power BI will be an advantage.
