Senior Manager, Procurement (Technology)

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct Technology procurement activities under the direction of the immediate team lead.
• Maintain and adhere to the company's purchasing policy and procedures, ensuring that all purchases meet regulatory requirements at all times.
• Develop, review, and propose new or improved administrative processes and procedures to drive constant improvements.
• Develop comprehensive commodity/category strategies that document end-to-end sourcing approaches, solution development, supplier selection, cost performance, quality performance, and logistics solutions with clear roadmaps and technical evaluation on an annual basis.
• Excel in supplier negotiations using multiple approaches to achieve the best value from each deal via methods such as market tests, long-term agreements, cost modeling, and predictive analytics.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations to ensure best-in-class pricing is achieved, emphasizing total cost of ownership and returns on investments for every deal.
• Summarize sourcing recommendations and convince stakeholders to accept the recommended sourcing decisions in a clear and concise manner.
• Engage in ongoing annual business reviews with key suppliers and internal stakeholders, focusing on improving operations and cost efficiencies.
• Issue purchase orders and follow up with suppliers on prompt shipments/delivery to maintain appropriate service levels.
• Interface independently with stakeholders and user departments, providing sound advice and recommendations as the procurement team's technology specialist.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service, integrity, respect, trust, and time management skills.
• Perform any other tasks, duties, and projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

• Minimum a Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or relevant working experience.

Experience

• Minimum 6 to 8 years of relevant direct working experience in all categories of indirect technology procurement or at least two categories of full technology procurement expertise.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality work, with good analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Resourceful, well-organized, results-oriented, with excellent negotiation skills.
• Strong business acumen and experience, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
• Excellent communication skills to manage key stakeholders and resolve issues effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills focused on end-user needs and requirements.
• Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
• Existing working knowledge of SAP Ariba, DocuSign, Service-Now, and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
• Ability to balance short-term tactical roles with long-term strategic initiatives.
• Ability to perform complex analysis, develop long-term category plans, and improve operational procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of financial management, cost management, and contract negotiations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, often stressful environment with tight timelines.
