We are looking for a seasoned and dependableSenior Manager in Procurementto join our dynamic engineering team. This leadership role is ideal for professionals with a solid background in procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiation—particularly within engineering or manufacturing environments. If you are experienced, hands-on, and capable of navigating high-pressure situations while inspiring operational excellence, we’d like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation
    Lead supplier engagements and negotiations to secure competitive pricing, value-add services, and long-term partnership benefits.

  • Contract Management
    Establish and manage supplier contracts, including pricing for tenders, while ensuring alignment with legal and commercial frameworks.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    Partner with materials planning, engineering, design, and quality teams to support procurement planning, engineering change management, and on-time delivery.

  • Supplier Development & Quality
    Oversee vendor performance, including quality, delivery, and responsiveness. Drive supplier improvement initiatives, including handling production and warranty issues.

  • Product & Component Support
    Work with design and technical teams on prototyping and sourcing of new or customized components for product development.

  • Operational Excellence
    Manage procurement operations, including purchase requisitions/orders (PR/PO), forecast planning, and supply rescheduling.

  • Cost & Risk Management
    Conduct supply chain cost analyses, implement cost-effective sourcing strategies, and identify and mitigate supply chain risks.

  • Leadership & Guidance
    Provide mentorship and strategic input to project teams. Take ownership in offering solutions and driving performance improvements.

Requirements:
  • Education & Experience:

    • Degree in Engineering (preferably EEE) or any relevant discipline with at least5 years of experiencein procurement, sourcing, and supplier negotiation

    • Diploma holders with10+ years of relevant experiencewill also be considered

  • Professional Skills:

    • Strong communicator who works well across all levels of the organization

    • Demonstrated ability in contract negotiation and supplier management

    • Knowledge of ERP systems (preferablySAP)

    • Strategic thinker with operational know-how and hands-on approach

    • Interest or experience in theautomotive or engineering sectorsis an advantage

  • Personal Attributes:

    • Mature, self-driven, and results-oriented

    • Comfortable working under pressure and willing to take initiative beyond standard responsibilities

    • Team player with leadership qualities and the confidence to influence and make sound decision
