Job Description

We are seeking a high-energy, self-motivated, result-driven individual for the role of Senior Manager/Lead in NAND Equipment Development (Wets/CMP/BTG - Bond, Grind, Trim). The individual will lead a team of engineers to identify, prioritize, and drive equipment solutions within a 15-month cadence, focusing on yield, reliability, and cost optimization for NAND technology nodes during various stages of technology introduction and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe working environment through proactive safety practices and adherence to safety policies.
  • Hire, develop, mentor, and manage a team of skilled equipment engineers.
  • Create a culture of innovation and tenacity to meet the needs of an accelerated technology cadence.
  • Provide regular performance feedback, support professional development, and assist in career planning through Micron’s performance management processes.
  • Define equipment strategy for future technology nodes and help outline the technology roadmap.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop equipment and hardware improvements aligned with Micron’s technology roadmap.
  • Coordinate with process development and manufacturing teams to ensure timely delivery of robust, high-volume manufacturing equipment.
  • Enable first-of-a-kind (FOAK) equipment capacity for effective transfer, pilot ramp, and maturation to meet TECHNODE gate criteria.
  • Work with Procurement & Operations teams to align globally on equipment effectiveness initiatives.
  • Communicate and collaborate with partners locally and globally, ensuring compliance with Micron’s IP policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is advantageous.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry with a background in Wets/CMP and/or BTG equipment, and experience working with global teams.
  • Proven success in leading projects and overseeing process engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to take calculated risks and challenge existing solutions.
  • Strong mentorship, team-building, and technical skills, with a focus on feedback and analysis of successes and failures.
  • Strategic thinking aligned with leadership goals, fostering a positive work culture and high morale.
