We are looking for an experienced technical learning partner to join our Singtel 8George Academy. You will design, develop, and deliver technical skills initiatives with business and HR stakeholders, using your competency management expertise to address skills gaps. You&aposll co-develop a strategic roadmap to enhance technical capabilities, working with business leaders and aligning with the Emerging Technology Guild for future needs.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Training Design and Development:
Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) from Singtel Digital InfraCo (DICo) to identify technical training needs to meet the business objectives.
Work with business stakeholders to design structured technical training plans and programmes for employees, covering core technical domains and emerging technologies.
Design and develop effective technical capability development roadmaps to address technical recertification, technical skills refresh and upskilling needs.
Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure training programmes are impactful.
Competency Management
Co-create digital and emerging technical competency frameworks in partnership with business stakeholders.
Develop and implement skills assessment to measure employee skills and identify competency gaps.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to address competency gap areas for their workforce.
Instil a culture of learning where managers and staff develop personalized learning pathways based on skills assessment results to address individual skill development needs.
Work with the team to design and curate learning and career progression pathways for employees aligned to current and future technical competency framework.
Track, evaluate and report the overall effectiveness of competency management initiatives.
Programme Delivery And Support
Co-design (with SMEs and external providers) technical training programmes in engaging and interactive formats (e.g., instructor-led sessions, online modules, blended learning).
Support DICo in learning programme collaborations with IHLs and industry training providers.
Support the operations of Sustainable AIDC Academy by Nxera and AI Acceleration Academy to train and upskill our existing workforce.
Trusted Partnerships
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (SMEs, business leaders, learners) to understand their needs and ensure the learning interventions drive impact.
Establish partnership with external vendors and industry experts to stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in technical capability development.
Foster a collaborative learning environment where internal and external knowledge is shared/leveraged within the Singtel Group ecosystem to continuously improve technical capability development approaches.
The Ideal Candidate Should Have/be
A degree from a recognized university and IHRP certification.
Minimum 10-12 years work experience, including 3-5 years in technical capability development and designing technical competency maps.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with sharp business acumen.
Proficient in planning, organising and operationalising development strategies.
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
