Job description

My client is an independent corporate finance firm specializing in equity fund-raising and corporate advisory. Licensed by the MAS and accredited as an approved IPO manager by the Singapore Exchange, They are also a Full Sponsor to SGX-Catalist companies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead in the execution of various corporate finance transactions such as issue manager (IM) for initial public offerings (IPOs) and rights issues, financial adviser (FA) and independent financial adviser (IFA) for privatisations, general offers (GOs) and reverse take-overs (RTOs), interested person transactions (IPTs), mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring.

  • Lead / assist in the origination of transactions through participating in origination meetings and discussion with clients.

  • Provide financial and corporate advice to clients in our capacity as sponsor, issue manager, placement agent and/or financial advisor.

  • Lead in the review of transaction documents such as prospectuses, due diligence reports, accountant’s reports and marketing documents such as pitch books and newsletters.

  • Liaise and cultivate relationships with clients, professional parties and regulatory authorities to work towards successful completion of transactions.

  • Exposure to / lead or assist in equity sales works and projects.

Job Requirements:

  • Registered Professional

  • Strong project risk assessment abilities

  • More than 7 years of corporate finance experience, with a track record of completed transactions ranging from IPOs, RTOs, and other financial advisory projects

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and writing skills

  • Highly motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment and work as a team player

  • Management and coordination of junior staff across teams

  • Degree in Accountancy/Business/Finance

  • Responsible, meticulous, strong analytical ability and project management skills

  • Able to travel for work assignments when required

  • Have a keen interest to expand personal network

  • Experience in equity sales is a plus
