We are now recruiting for a Senior Manager, P&O Solutions, Singapore & Export Markets (Indonesia, Philippines, Cambodia) to join the Singapore People and Organisation team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position is intended to define talent problems, closely partnering with the business and relevant stakeholders, to hypothesize, test and build P&O solutions. The position needs to work closely with the end users ie business leaders as well as employees - and with Regional COE teams who provide deep HR expertise to deliver customer-centric solutions.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL

This newly created position will see you work across four specific workstreams;

(1) Rewards and how Retail Incentives can power business acceleration, and brand equity objectives - This position is responsible for designing and managing innovative policies and programs. As a key subject matter expert of the Rewards function, the role provides consultation and expert advice to People & Organisation (P&O) Business Partner and business leaders for designated markets(s).

(2) Operating Model for Export Markets (Indonesia, Philippines & Cambodia) to accelerate their role as growth engines for the region

(3) HR Operations & related simplification- Leveraging the adjacency of policy design, process design and implementation scope, the position will be responsible for overall governance and oversight of HR Operations, driving key simplification opportunities systemically

(4) Regional Talent Management & transformation projects – supporting building scaled solutions for deepening capabilities across SEAA and other transformation projects.

You will be a strong communicator who can innovate within the policy and process design process, while looking for simplification at each step.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Provide expert advice in close partnership with Retail Compensation expert and market P&O teams on designing and reviewing the reward programs with various business divisions in alignment with retail compensation philosophy.
  • Recommend and implement innovative rewards solutions, in partnership with the Compensation expert, with reference to the latest market trends and HR best practices to ensure the company stays competitive in the market and industry. Identify areas where we can create the Chanel difference.
  • Conduct and manage the job evaluation process in close partnership with Compensation expert, market P&O and business managers
  • Manage annual salary, bonus and benefits review cycle for SG
  • Work closely with line managers & HR to develop competitive pay structures, while maintaining internal equity and review/design reward schemes for front line and office staff.
  • Develop, review and implement rewards related policies for designated market(s).
  • Participate in annual salary and benefits surveys, manage data submission, analyze results and recommend appropriate market adjustments as necessary.
  • Lead the governance and oversight for HR Operations, ensuring strong end to end ownership of SOP’s for strong controls and compliance
  • Drive operational efficiency and simplification opportunities in benefits administration, coordinating closely with HRBS

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Demonstrated experience of several years as a Senior HR practitioner with diversity of experiences across Rewards, HR Business Partnering, and other COE roles that entailed systems thinking with close business partnership. Experience in multinational organizations, retail business and/or companies with progressive/ innovative P&O practices.
  • Bachelor Degree with major in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related discipline. Post graduate qualification of Human Resources / Psychology / Business would be considered an advantage.
  • High agility combined with a growth mindset by embracing innovative ideas and being comfortable with iterative ways of working, synthesizing a wide range of information.
  • Strong experience and demonstrated results in project management, consultative problem solving, relationship management, and creativity and innovation. This includes proactively balancing multiple priorities for broad impact
  • Experience with rewards projects across multiple markets, sales commission / incentive plans, job evaluation and knowledge of local employment law would be an advantage. In the absence of direct experience, numerical & business fluency to learn with agility is necessary
  • Exposure and experience with a retail organization will also be beneficial
