Job summary

Valmet is seeking an experienced Order Management, Inventory & Procurement Manager to lead critical supply chain operations across order management, inventory control, and procurement. You will drive end-to-end order-to-cash, ensure inventory accuracy, and oversee sourcing and supplier management with cross-functional teams globally.

The role requires 10+ years in order management, supply chain, and procurement, plus 5+ years of leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in business or related field and 10+ years in order management, supply chain and procurement.
• Demonstrates leadership with 5+ years of team management experience.
• Strong understanding of order-to-cash processes and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the order management team through coaching and performance management.
• Oversee the end-to-end order lifecycle from entry to invoicing.
• Collaborate with sales, logistics, supply chain, and finance to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Drive process improvements and automation within order management operations.
• Support audits, revenue recognition activities, and compliance requirements.
• Develop and implement inventory management strategies, policies, and controls.
• Forecast demand and coordinate replenishment with procurement and sales.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement: sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiations, contracting, and supplier performance.
• Analyze financial, inventory, procurement, and operational data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
