Job description

As a Senior Manager - Operational Risk & Compliance at CBA India located in Bengaluru - Manyata Tech Park, you will play a crucial role in providing specialist advice, assurance, and acceptance of decisions related to Operational Risk and Compliance (OR&C) across the Technology, COO, and Support Units at CBA India. Your primary responsibility will be to lead within the Risk Management function and support COO and CBA India by ensuring effective implementation of the Risk Management Approach and Operational Risk and Compliance Management Frameworks.In this role, you will work closely with the Executive Manager to provide independent services over risk management, actively uplift risk capability, and oversee the governance of operational risks through various internal risk committees and governance forums. Additionally, you will lead deep dive reviews on operational risks and control areas, investigate emerging risks and control issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal frameworks.Collaborating with a team of professional Subject Matter Experts, you will provide independent and value-adding operational risk advice, conduct risk assessments, and contribute to risk management and assurance activities. You will also develop partnerships with stakeholders to become a trusted advisor, provide practical recommendations, and ensure compliance with the Operational Risk Management Frameworks.To be successful in this role, you should possess at least 15 years of experience in operational risk management, a background in Global Capability Centres (GCC), and knowledge of industry best practices. Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to influence senior management and articulate operational risks to diverse stakeholders.
