Are you a dynamic healthcare leader ready to make a meaningful impact across multiple care settings? MWS is looking for aSenior Manager (Nursing Homes)to support and drive operational excellence across our cluster of three nursing homes.
Roles and Responsibilities
Cluster-Wide Operational Leadership
Partner with the Head of Nursing Homes (HoNH) to oversee daily operations across all sites.
Step in as deputy for key decisions when the HoNH is unavailable.
Collaborate with Ops Managers, Clinical Heads, and HSS Leads to align execution with strategic goals.
Monitor KPIs (occupancy, staffing, incidents, audits) and proactively flag risks.
On-the-Ground Leadership
Maintain a visible leadership presence across all homes, with a primary base at one site.
Lead site-level escalations and urgent decision-making.
Mentor and support middle managers across clinical and support functions.
Represent the HoNH in operational and quality meetings when needed.
Drive Cluster Transformation
Lead or co-lead strategic initiatives (e.g. infection control, staff training, volunteer engagement).
Collaborate with Finance and Ops on cost optimisation and shared services.
Track progress on strategic goals and support planning cycles.
Strengthen quality and risk governance through data-driven reviews and follow-ups.
Lead People, Build Culture
Partner with HR and HoNH on workforce development, onboarding, and succession planning.
Champion cross-site engagement through joint training, peer networks, and feedback loops.
Address people-related concerns across homes and support staff development planning.
Ensure Compliance & Readiness
Ensure all homes are audit-ready and aligned with MOH and AIC standards.
Support license renewals, SOP compliance, and policy harmonisation.
Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
Qualifications, Competencies and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Allied Health, or related field
Postgraduate diploma or Master's degree in Healthcare Management / Public Health is advantageous
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in healthcare operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Prior experience in residential care settings (e.g., nursing homes, community hospitals) is strongly preferred
Strong in stakeholder management, systems thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.
Passionate about improving care quality and empowering teams.
Comfortable navigating complexity and driving change across multiple sites.
