As a Manager/Senior Manager, Risk Management, you will play a critical role in supporting NCS to accomplish its business objectives by strengthening and embedding NCS risk management framework and uplifting the 2nd line of defense capabilities throughout the organization. This is a hands-on role within NCS Risk Management, where you will drive the implementation of risk policies, enhance monitoring capabilities and support various enterprise risk management initiatives.

What would you do?

  • Drive the execution of NCS’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, ensuring effective implementation of risk policies and procedures across Business, Geographical and Corporate units.
  • Facilitate the preparation and maintenance of risk registers and reports, identifying policy or procedural gaps and supporting the development of mitigation plans. · Proactively identify control and process improvement initiatives and advise stakeholders on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and deliver training materials, workshops and webinars to build internal awareness and capability in risk management.
  • Establish and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to enable ongoing risk monitoring, trend analysis, and early detection of emerging risks across Business, Geographical and Corporate units
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of the Risk Appetite and Tolerance framework, working with senior leadership to define risk boundaries and embed them into decision-making processes.
  • Leverage data analytics and technology tools for continuous risk monitoring, anomaly detection, and process improvement.

Crisis and Incident Management

  • Maintain and continuously update NCS Crisis Management Playbook, ensuring it reflects current threat scenarios, escalation protocols, and response actions across business and geographical units.
  • Acts as Secretariat for incident and crisis management, guiding teams through activation, escalation, documentation, and after-action reviews. · Tracks and ensures timely closure of follow-up actions, including root cause analysis and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Uplift incident and crisis management processes across the regional units, aligning local practices with NCS Group standards while considering regional-specific and operational risks
  • Work with regional incident management teams, facilitating knowledge sharing, capability building, and consistency in incident handling and reporting.

Ad-hoc project

  • Support ad hoc strategic and operational initiatives from a risk management perspective, including providing risk assessments and control recommendations

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess

  • At least 6 years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity and/or Controls Assurance
  • Proven experience with defining, implementing and drafting policies/standards regarding Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity and/or Controls Assurance will be preferred.
  • Experience in leading control gaps/incidents reviews, including root cause analysis, recommending mitigating controls, reporting and tracking the remediation actions
  • Experience in working in a challenging business environment with proven capabilities in organizing, summarizing, and presenting complex information
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders located locally and overseas by managing, coaching and supporting them on GRC programme initiatives
  • Proven track record with leading scenario planning exercises, implementing risk sensing capabilities and validating various risk and measurement models
  • Advanced knowledge of risk management and control concepts, leading risk management practices and standards (e.g. ISO 31000, COSO)
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and/or PowerBI
  • Analytical and critical thinking
  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
