Job description

What the role is:

The officer will support the media relations team in:

  1. Working with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop media materials
  2. Identifying and developing media opportunities that highlight WSG's programmes and initiatives
  3. Establishing and maintaining relationships with media contacts
  4. Overseeing daily media monitoring for WSG
  5. Attending to media queries
  6. Coordinating media support requests from divisions
  7. Assisting in media duties during events
  8. Handling any other ad-hoc requests

What we are looking for:

You should have the following work experience and knowledge:

  • Prior experience in corporate/public communications, media, and stakeholder engagement

You should possess the following skill sets:

  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to multi-task and provide strategic advice under tight deadlines
  • Self-starter, proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Candidates with a good command of a Mother Tongue language are preferred
