What The Role Is

The Research and Partnerships team within the Culture Academy (CA) undertakes cultural data management and analysis, progress evaluation, foresights thinking, and capability building to build an evidence-based approach to cultural policymaking and strengthen thought leadership for the culture sector.

What You Will Be Working On

As a member of the Research and Partnerships team, you will support the Deputy Director and Director (Research) on data management and analysis of the Singapore Cultural Statistics and internal policy indicators that track the progress of the Arts and Heritage Plans. You will also assist with project management of Culture Bytes (Data Insights) and undertake research linked to strategic foresights.

The Key Areas Of Work Are Below

Data Management: Internal Policy Indicators/Singapore Cultural Statistics

• Assist with the collation and analysis of data from agencies for the compilation of a quarterly pulse tracker and/or
• Assist with the collation and analysis of data from agencies for the compilation of the Singapore Cultural Statistics.

Culture Bytes (Data Report)

• Assist with the editorial and project management of Culture Bytes (Data Report) through liaison with the editorial agency, for the publishing of internal policy indicators.

Strategic Foresights

• Undertake research on potential future trends/outcomes for the culture sector, based on a 10-year trajectory of current economic and social developments.
