Job Description

Process Analysis and User-Centric Optimisation of Data Governance Processes:

  • Map and document business processes to understand how data is created, used, and managed
  • Analyse data flows using tools like CRUD matrices (Create, Read, Update, Delete) and customer journey maps to identify inefficiencies and propose targeted improvements
  • Align workflows with master data and metadata management frameworks to ensure consistency and integration
  • Account for user needs to ensure that governance processes and systems are practical and support operational goals
  • Collaborate with I2D2 (IT division), Synapxe (vendor) and other team members to design processes that align with data governance practices and the requirements of both the HEALIX and Microsoft Dynamics 365 platforms

Change Management:

  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support the adoption of data governance practices across AIC
  • Act as a change agent and collaborate with division data stewards to help staff and stakeholders understand, embrace, and integrate new data governance processes and tools
  • Create and execute communication plans to ensure consistent messaging and engagement during transitions
  • Monitor adoption levels and address inertia through proactive measures

Training and Awareness:

  • Design, develop, and conduct training programs and workshops on data governance topics, including data quality, metadata management, and data governance policies
  • Tailor content to meet the needs of different audiences, from frontline staff to senior leaders
  • Create engaging materials, including presentations, guides, and e-learning modules, to promote understanding of data governance principles and practices
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and refine them based on feedback and organisational needs

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Facilitate workshops and discussions with business units to gather input, address pain points, and promote alignment with governance initiatives
  • Build partnerships with key stakeholders to drive awareness and commitment to data governance practices
  • Act as a liaison between business users, I2D2 and Synapxe to ensure mutual understanding and alignment

Support Key Initiatives like AIC’s Onboarding to the HEALIX Data Lakehouse:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to map the lifecycle of data as it progresses from the Bronze (raw) to Silver (cleansed) and Gold (trusted) tiers to ensure scalability and trust
  • Identify critical pain points in current workflows and propose process improvements to optimise data usage and governance
  • Document and communicate business requirements to ensure HEALIX effectively supports analytical needs and Microsoft Dynamic 365 meets operational needs

Job Requirements

  • A good bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant business, technology, or engineering specialty, or related field with at least 8 years of working experience with 2 years in managerial capacity in business analysis, process improvement, change management, or data governance
  • Certification in adult learning and change management methodologies is an advantage.
  • Certification in Certified Data Management Professional by Data Management Association International (DAMA) or a related certification is an advantage
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and conducting training programs or workshops
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders and explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Knowledge of change management strategies and the ability to manage transitions effectively
  • Knowledge of training methodologies and the ability to translate complex concepts into accessible materials
  • Flexible, self-motivating, and able to manage multiple projects efficiently
  • Business-oriented and able to deliver quality service in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to remain effective amid ambiguity and change
