Job description

The Senior Manager/Manager, Partnership Development leads fundraising initiatives and stakeholder relations for the Singapore Heart Foundation (SHF). This role involves securing philanthropic contributions, managing donor and partner relationships. The Senior Manager/Manager develops strategic initiatives and collaborates with the Board and senior leadership to advance SHF's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to secure sustainable corporate partnerships that contribute to SHF’s fundraising goals.

  • Identify potential corporate sponsors, donors, and strategic partners to enhance SHF’s funding and programme sustainability.

  • Create tailored partnership proposals, sponsorship packages, and engagement opportunities that align with corporate social responsibility (CSR) and ESG goals.

  • Strengthen existing relationships with corporate partners through regular engagement, impact reporting, and recognition initiatives.

  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate sponsors, philanthropic foundations, and high-net-worth individuals.

  • Work closely with internal teams to co-create impactful corporate engagement initiatives.

  • Develop compelling sponsorship decks, grant proposals, and donor impact reports.

  • Manage sponsorship deliverables, ensuring partners receive value-aligned benefits and visibility.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines related to fundraising and corporate partnerships.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partnership strategies, providing regular updates to leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Non-Profit Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Ideally 5 to 7 years of experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, stakeholder engagement roles, business development or leadership roles, preferably in the non-profit sector.

  • Proven success in a target-driven environment, with demonstrable outcomes in fundraising, sponsorships, and partnership development.

  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills and experience working with Boards and senior leadership on strategic initiatives.

  • Proficient with donor management tools or CRM systems to track and optimize engagement.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in proposal writing and presentations.

  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate fundraising performance and donor engagement outcomes.

  • Strong problem-solving and project management capabilities.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and build strong internal and external relationships.

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to implement long-term initiatives.

  • Knowledge of charity legislation, compliance regulations, and non-profit operational requirements.

  • A robust network with corporations, foundations, and donors is highly desirable.
