Job description

What the role is:

As Senior Manager / Manager (Office Services) of the Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA), you will be involved in the setup and management of the office services function within the agency.

You will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, requiring the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously to ensure a smooth transition to the CDA.

What you will be working on:

Your key responsibilities include the following:

  • Be involved in the day-to-day running of CDA’s office operations and the provision of office services to CDA divisions, including managing key facilities-related contracts.

  • Oversee relevant vendors to ensure the office facilities are well-maintained.

  • Propose innovative processes to increase operational efficiency and streamline office processes.

  • Develop and implement various office service policies and procedures.

  • Support the implementation of Greengov.sg initiatives for CDA’s offices and ensure compliance with rules, regulations, and requirements.

  • Promote awareness of sustainability within the organization through internal communications strategies.

  • Assist in preparing CDA’s annual sustainability disclosures.

  • Coordinate business continuity planning and crisis management, including maintaining the business continuity plan and promoting fire safety awareness.

Note: The jobholder may be activated for duty on weekends and after office hours as needed.


What we are looking for:

Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in office administration is preferred.

  • Tertiary qualification in any discipline.

  • Experience in planning and implementing sustainability initiatives and reporting is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with the Government Instruction Manual on Procurement is an advantage.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Good team player.

  • Independent, self-driven, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, performing under pressure and tight deadlines.
